I found this pole very frustrating to use. The locking/folding system relies on a ver thin cord with a knot that has to be pulled tight and wedged into a small plastic cap at the top of the pole. It is awkward and suprisingly difficult to secure, and I could not imagine repeatedly opening and colapsing the pole during normal use without becoming extremely frustrated.
The grip also felt much too thin and insubstantiol for me to use comfortably as a hiking aid.
I ultimately decided to return it, but the return required me to ship it back to China at my own expense. The cost and the hassle made the return impractical, so I ended up simply tossing the pole in the trash.
Unfortunately this was not a usable product for my needs.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How are the New Colors different from the original E4204 poles?
A: Same race-proven ultralight carbon-fiber design and tungsten tips as the original E4204 — just finished in eye-catching Ombre Orange or Fluorescent Green for extra visibility and style on the trail.
Q: How much does each pole weigh?
A: About 131–142 g per pole depending on length (105–125 cm), keeping a pair among the lightest trail poles available.
Q: Should I buy a single pole or a pair?
A: A pair (2PCS) gives balanced support on technical, uneven terrain, while a single pole (1PC) is the lighter pick for trail runners who want extra stability on climbs without adding much weight.
Q: How do I choose the right pole length?
A: Match it to your height — under 5'1" → 105 cm, 5'1"–5'5" → 110 cm, 5'5"–5'9" → 115 cm, 5'9"–6'1" → 120 cm, over 6'1" → 125 cm.
Q: How small do they fold down for storage?
A: They collapse to just 29.5–34 cm depending on length — small enough to slide into a vest pocket or daypack side pouch.
Q: What terrain are the tungsten tips good for?
A: Tungsten alloy tips bite securely into rock, mud, ice, and gravel, giving reliable traction across mixed trail conditions.
