my only gripe with the poles is the secure glove-to-pole lock system. The poles are good, the system can be better, as i had sores on my hand after using gloves on my 30k run. the plastic clasp which need to be inserted to the poles kept grinding on hand. had to stop using the gloves to finish my race
These are great poles! I bought these mainly because I was looking for a lightweight carbon-fiber pole. These are incredibly light, and quite sturdy. The quick detach strap system is great for when you need to quickly store them away. Deploying the poles is incredibly easy, even when jogging. After practicing a few times I was able to deploy or stow away the both poles in a 20 seconds or so.
These trekking poles are excellent—they’re incredibly lightweight and feel great in your hands.
It can be quickly assembled in one piece right after pulling it out, which is very convenient.
Carbon fiber is highly elastic and provides excellent shock absorption.
